Privacy policy

Here we explain what personal data we process when you contact us through this website or by email, what we use it for, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, which providers we work with and how you can exercise your rights at any time.

2. What data we process and why

We process the data you provide in the proposal request form or the trade show calendar download form (name, company, email address, telephone number and the details of your event), or in the messages you send us by email, for the following purposes:

  • To respond to your request and prepare a proposal for your event.
  • To send you the document you have requested, such as the Madrid trade show calendar.
  • To maintain the necessary communication if you decide to engage our services.

We do not use your data to send you marketing communications you have not asked for, and we do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling.

The legal basis is the consent you give when submitting the form and the taking of pre-contractual steps at your request. If we go on to sign a contract, processing is also based on the performance of that contract. You may withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out beforehand.

4. Retention

We keep request data for 24 months or for as long as a business relationship exists. After that, it is blocked for the statutory limitation periods and then deleted.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. We work with providers acting as data processors, in particular Netlify, Inc., which hosts this website and handles form submissions. Netlify may process data in the United States with the appropriate safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses.

Like any hosting service, Netlify may record technical connection data, such as your IP address, in its server logs for security and operational purposes.

If your request requires the involvement of another MC Group company or brand (for example, ECB · Eventos Corporativos Barcelona if your event takes place in Barcelona), we will tell you before sharing your data with it.

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability by writing to eventos@marcacondal.com and stating which right you wish to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es).

7. Visit measurement

If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand, in aggregate, how the website is used: pages visited, where visits come from and requests submitted. The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time from “Cookie preferences”. You will find more detail in the cookie policy.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. The entire website runs over an encrypted HTTPS connection.
