How to use these guides
The guides are written for the stage when nothing has been decided yet: not the dates, the venue, the format or the budget. Each one answers a specific question from event, marketing or HR managers, and from congress committees.
They all follow the same rules:
- Sourced data. Destination figures come from official or reliable sources, such as the Madrid Convention Bureau, IFEMA MADRID, Madrid City Council, Aena or the venues themselves, and are cited in each guide.
- Visible update date. Madrid keeps changing: hotels open, venues are refurbished and new trade show calendars are published. We review the guides regularly.
- No invented prices. When we talk about costs, we explain budget lines and the factors behind them, not rates we cannot guarantee.
- Production judgement. The advice comes from the method the MC Group team has used to produce events for more than 20 years.
