The Parador occupies three restored 17th-century convent colleges, including the Colegio Convento de Santo Tomás de Aquino, with contemporary interiors. Paradores has been in Alcalá since 1930, when it opened a students' hostel, and the spa sits beneath the vaults of the former convent church. Getting there
The address is Calle Colegios, 8, in the historic centre of Alcalá de Henares. The city is about 35 km from Madrid along the A-2 and about 20 km from Madrid-Barajas airport, which makes arrival easy for international attendees. Cercanías commuter trains run from Atocha and Chamartín to Alcalá de Henares.
