What events does the Palacio de los Infantes suit?

The Palacio de los Infantes was the country residence of the children of Charles IV and is now the home of the Euroforum Campus Escorial. Its great advantage is concentration: meeting rooms, auditoriums, catering and accommodation on one campus, opposite El Escorial Monastery.

It suits two or three-day conventions, sales kick-offs with many parallel workshops, training programmes, leadership meetings and incentives that combine work with a cultural visit and the outdoors.

The other rooms range from 40 to 133 m², for groups of 22 to 100 people theatre style. With two auditoriums that work together or separately, the campus lets you split the main plenary from a second simultaneous session, for example for two business units or two languages. The smaller rooms work for workshops, one-to-one meetings or interviews.

Getting there

San Lorenzo de El Escorial lies north-west of Madrid. Cercanías commuter trains run to El Escorial, with the station 1 km from the campus, although for groups the practical option is a coach from a meeting point in Madrid or from the airport, about 50 km away. If part of the group arrives by high-speed AVE train, the natural connection is from Chamartín or Atocha.

Production tips

Design a parallel agenda. With 35 rooms, the ideal format is a short plenary and many working groups.
Look after the breaks. In a residential programme, coffee breaks and meals are when networking happens, so plan the spaces for them carefully.
Build in the monastery. A guided visit to the Royal Monastery at the end of the first day changes the group's rhythm.
