Getting there
The address is Calle Edgar Neville s/n, in the Ciudad de la Imagen in Pozuelo de Alarcón. There is a public transport stop at the entrance to the complex and more than 3,000 parking spaces. The airport is about 25 minutes away by car and Atocha station 15 km away, according to the Madrid Convention Bureau. For large groups, shuttles from the hotels are the most efficient option.
Production tips
- Check the stage area in each screen. Cinema auditoriums have fixed seating and a front designed for the screen: confirm the usable space for speakers, lectern and panel tables.
- Prepare content for a cinema screen. Ask speakers and your creative agency for videos and presentations in the right resolution and format, and run a technical test in the auditorium.
- Keep your event separate from the general public. The complex still operates as a cinema: agree entrances, times and signage so your attendees do not cross paths with commercial screenings.
- Plan the transport. Outside the centre, punctuality depends on coaches and parking: stagger arrivals and departures.
