What is Ciudad Grupo Santander as an events venue?
It is the Santander Group's corporate headquarters in Boadilla del Monte. Alongside the offices, the campus brings together an auditorium, meeting rooms, a golf course, sports facilities and a large green area, which the group hires out for corporate events through Golf Santander & Sports. It is part of the Marca Condal venue selection in Madrid (Marca Condal is a company in our group), mainly for one reason: it lets you combine content and activity on a single site, with security and discretion.
We suggest it for company conventions that want a plenary in the morning and sport in the afternoon, large-scale team building, family days and incentive travel with golf.

The Madrid Convention Bureau sheet also highlights the audiovisual technology and the option of hybrid formats and streaming. The golf course has 18 holes, par 72, and measures 6,856 metres, one of the longest in Spain according to its designer, Rees Jones; it is completed by a 5-hole course, practice areas and the Jim McLean golf school.
Getting there
The campus is in Boadilla del Monte, west of Madrid. For groups we recommend coaches from the hotels with fixed outbound and return times. The address given by the Madrid Convention Bureau is Calle Cantabria s/n, Boadilla del Monte. For guests arriving independently, we confirm the available parking with the venue.
Production tips
- Plan the flow of the whole day. Distances within the campus are long. Design routes, signage and, if needed, internal shuttles between the auditorium, the clubhouse and the sports areas.
- Have a plan B for El Bosque. A large outdoor event needs a wet or hot weather alternative, plus planning for shade, water and medical cover.
- Send accreditation lists early. This is a high-security corporate headquarters. Send attendee and supplier lists well in advance.
- Hybrid format. If part of the audience will follow the plenary remotely, ask for the auditorium's streaming conditions from the start.
What pairs well nearby
For accommodation, the usual approach is to stay in Madrid and travel by coach. If the programme continues in the city, a dinner at the Galería de Cristal at the Palacio de Cibeles rounds off the day well.
