What kind of event suits the Casino de Madrid?
The Casino de Madrid is a private social club housed in a historic building on Calle de Alcalá. It opens its salons to private and professional events, which lets a company host guests in a classic clubhouse interior, with high-ceilinged salons, two minutes from Sol.
It is a good venue for gala dinners of up to 224 guests, board lunches, client dinners, awards ceremonies and formal leadership meetings. It also works for a results presentation or a product launch in front of a small, select audience.

Getting there
The Casino is at Calle de Alcalá 15. Metro stations are Sol (lines 1, 2 and 3, plus Cercanías commuter rail) and Sevilla (line 2), a few steps away. Atocha, with AVE high-speed trains, is about 15 minutes on foot. Alcalá carries heavy traffic on the stretch by Sol: for a dinner, arrange the car and coach drop-off on a nearby street.
Production tips
- Use salons in sequence. A reception in the Alcalá or Puerta del Sol followed by dinner in the Salón Real avoids moving furniture with guests in the room.
- Club rules. This is a private club. We confirm its house rules with the Casino (access, times and dress code, if any) and pass them on to guests with the invitation.
- Keep staging restrained. The Salón Real has a 12-metre ceiling and plenty of its own ornamentation. Ask for a lighting design that enhances it rather than large structures.
