What kind of event suits El Cielo de Las Ventas?
The Las Ventas bullring is an icon of Madrid's neo-Mudéjar architecture and a place overseas visitors immediately associate with the city. Holding an event in a space inside that building gives guests a story to take home without the need for elaborate sets.
It suits company parties, welcome drinks for a company convention or an incentive trip, brand presentations and festive-format product launches. We ask the venue for capacity by layout before putting it forward.

Getting there
Las Ventas is in the east of the city, on Calle de Alcalá. Ventas metro station (lines 2 and 5) exits right next to the bullring. From the airport, the taxi or coach journey is shorter than to the historic centre, with Avenida de América and the M-30 close by. Coaches can pull up more easily than in the old town, but on bullfight or concert days the surrounding area gets gridlocked.
Production tips
- Check the bullring's calendar. Las Ventas hosts bullfights, concerts and other shows. Make sure your date does not clash with a major event that would complicate access and traffic.
- Ask for the technical rider. Power supply, load-in, set-up times and outdoor areas all shape the design. We settle these before proposing any staging.
- Weather. If part of the space is open-air, plan heating or shade according to the season and keep an alternative plan.
- Context for international guests. For overseas delegates, a short introduction to the building's history helps them make sense of the place.
What pairs well nearby
For the content side of the day, Espacio Bertelsmann, next to the Retiro, has an auditorium for 200 people. For large-scale formats in the same eastern part of the city, there is the Movistar Arena.
