What events does the Marriott Auditorium suit?
It has something unusual for a hotel: its own 2,000-seat congress auditorium. It fits medical and scientific congresses of up to 2,000 delegates, company conventions with a plenary and many working rooms, and multi-day programmes where it helps that nobody has to leave the building. Getting there
The address is Avenida de Aragón 400, in the east of Madrid, next to the A-2. The airport is about 5 km away and Coslada Cercanías station 3 km. For groups, coaches from the airport and from the Atocha or Chamartín high-speed stations are the most practical option. If the programme includes dinners in the centre, budget for return transfers.
Production tips
- Negotiate rooms and the bedroom allocation in the same contract. The advantage of this format is having everything together: close bedrooms, meeting rooms and catering at the same time.
- Make the most of the auditorium's height. At 9.8 m there is room for large screens and vertical staging without losing sightlines.
- Group the parallel sessions. The ground-floor rooms are divisible: plan each track in adjoining rooms to shorten changeovers.
- Organise outings from the hotel. If you want the group to see Madrid, schedule a dinner out with shuttles and clear timings.
