What kind of event suits the Palacio Neptuno?
The palace was refurbished to host large events and pairs an early 20th-century building with contemporary interior design. Its defining feature is the glass dome by artist Manuel Ortega above the main hall, which brings light and height to a 900 m² space.
It works for gala dinners of 150 to 350 guests, year-end parties, awards ceremonies and staged product launches. With several halls on different floors, you can hold drinks in one space and dinner in another without stripping the set.

Getting there
The address is Calle de Cervantes 42, a few metres from Plaza de Neptuno. Metro stations are Banco de España (line 2) and Antón Martín (line 1), with Atocha, served by AVE high-speed and Cercanías commuter trains, about ten minutes on foot. The airport express bus stops at Cibeles and Atocha. Coaches can drop the group on Paseo del Prado for a short walk in.
Production tips
- Drinks upstairs, dinner downstairs. Use the Mirador Eunice for the welcome while the main hall set-up is being finished.
- The dome calls the shots. By day it lets in plenty of natural light. If your event starts before dark and includes projections, plan for LED screens rather than a projector.
- Confirm figures by layout. The venue sheet gives several overall capacity figures that do not match. We work with the room-by-room figures in the table and validate them on the site visit.
What pairs well nearby
Opposite, across Paseo del Prado, is the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum, ideal for a private viewing before dinner. For accommodation, The Palace is a few steps away. If the day includes content sessions, the Ateneo de Madrid is on Calle del Prado.
