The brief
Edenred wanted a Christmas dinner for its Madrid team that felt different from the year before: one room, round tables for everyone and a moment people would still be talking about the next day. No stage full of speeches, and no technology getting in the way of conversation.
What we did
- Venue. We chose Espacio Harley, an open-plan vaulted hall with truss structure that lets you rig projectors and lighting without building works.
- Table video mapping. We installed overhead projectors above every round table. During dinner, tablecloths and plates became a screen: animations, messages for guests and a sequence synchronised across the whole room.
- Lighting. We washed the hall's walls in reds and blues that changed with each moment of the night, from the welcome drink to the final toast.
- Production and service. We coordinated build, catering, AV and show calling, with our team on site from start to finish.
The result
A company dinner with a format of its own, where the surprise reached every table at once rather than only the people near the stage. Edenred has kept working with the team on its celebrations in Madrid and Barcelona, including the rock festival we staged the following year at Hard Rock Cafe Madrid.
