What is Espacio Harley?
It is a vaulted hall at Calle de Alcalá 182, halfway between Manuel Becerra and the Las Ventas bullring. Its open floor and truss structure let you rig projectors and lighting without building works, which is unusual in central Madrid. It is part of the Marca Condal venue selection in Madrid (Marca Condal is a company in our group).
What we did here
In December 2018 we organised Edenred's Christmas dinner for its Madrid team at Espacio Harley. We set round tables across the hall, washed the walls in red and blue light and projected overhead video mapping onto every table: plates and tablecloths became a screen during dinner. It shows what the space allows: one room, every guest at once and technology rigged above the audience.
Current use and availability
Today Espacio Harley presents itself mainly as a podcast, production and post-production studio. That is why we do not publish capacities or floor areas: we confirm them with the venue for each proposal, along with dates, hours and build conditions.
Getting there
The nearest metro stations are Manuel Becerra (lines 2 and 6) and Ventas (lines 2 and 5), and several bus routes run along Calle de Alcalá.
Production tips
- Use the structure. Projectors, mapping and lighting hang above the audience; agree the technical area early.
- One room, one moment. The hall format works very well for dinners where everyone shares the surprise at the same time.
- Confirm before designing. As its main activity has changed, check availability and terms before locking the concept.
What pairs well nearby
Close by is El Cielo de Las Ventas for drinks with views over the bullring. For more classic formats, Teatro Circo Price or Teatro Eslava.
