What events does it suit?
The theatre occupies the former Estación del Norte, designed in the 19th century by the French engineers Biarez, Grasset and Ouliac. The refurbishment keeps much of its original character, with art deco and neo-baroque details, an imperial staircase and period lamps. The result is a large room with personality, close to the Royal Palace and Madrid Río. It is part of the Marca Condal venue selection in Madrid (Marca Condal is a company in our group).
It suits company conventions of 500 to 1,000 people, product launches with a show, award ceremonies and gala dinners.

Getting there
The address is Cuesta de San Vicente 44. The Príncipe Pío transport hub has metro (lines 6 and 10), Cercanías commuter trains and several bus routes. By road, the natural approach is from the M-30 and the A-5.
Production tips
- Work around the theatre calendar. The theatre has performances almost every day during the season. Ask early about free days and the set-up and strike times the programme allows.
- A two-stage welcome. Use the front-of-house spaces for arrivals and pre-show drinks, and keep the auditorium for the plenary.
- Loading and unloading. Coordinate loading times with the venue and with local traffic, which is heavy because of the transport hub and the shopping centre.
- Technical production. This is a working theatre: decide early which equipment you bring and which the venue supplies.
What pairs well nearby
Close by you have the Pabellón de Cristal at Casa de Campo for exhibition formats and the Riu Plaza España to house the group. For another evening, the Teatro Real is a few minutes away.
